The Quality Clinic and Hospital process applies
the metaphors of medicine to address issues with speed and process

solving efforts of integrated product/process teams (IPT). Quality
Clinics also serve as the central location for data sharing
within the business unit and provide marketing value for continuous
improvement.
The Quality Clinic network is made up a number
of clinics, linked through process, communication and action.
The clinics can and should also include linkages to critical
suppliers and customers. By design, each clinic has the resources
it needs to quickly resolve the issues confronted in the business
unit. After all, no body wants a patient to die in the hallway.
When advanced technologies or expertise is required, the issue
(patient) is moved to a Hospital for further action.
